Tickets will be available for booking through this website or at the entrance (unless we are at capacity). Tickets purchased on unauthorized websites or through scalpers will not be honored.

Train: Closest stations are Town Hall Station (5-minute walk) or Museum Station (10-minute walk).

Light Rail: L2/L3 lines stop along George Street, only a short walk away. Nearest stop Queen Victoria Building (QVB) .

Bus: Multiple bus routes run through the Sydney CBD and stop along or near George Street, nearest Queen Victoria Building (QVB) stop.

The museum is centrally located in the CBD and easily accessible from Pitt St Mall, Queen Victoria Building, Town Hall, and World Square.

Yes, we are wheelchair accessible. There are a few rooms with slanted floors that are not as accessible but those can be bypassed on your visit.

As stated in our Terms & Conditions, all tickets are final sale and non-refundable. Additionally, merchandise items cannot be exchanged.

No, animals are not allowed inside the museum, except for service animals.

No, food and drinks are not allowed in the museum.

Tickets are not required for children who are ages four and younger. They can enter MOI for free!

The museum is centrally located in the CBD and easily accessible from Pitt St Mall, Queen Victoria Building, Town Hall, and World Square. The museum is accessible via George Street only, with the entrance being located at 413 George Street.

Yes, you can visit the museum by yourself. Our lovely Illusion Experts are happy to help with photos and explanations.
